Blog vs. Comic

My name is Justin and I draw the increasingly famous Corduroy Ninja comic. It can be found at http://www.corduroyninja.com.

Now, I know I am not the first person to come up with the idea of a ninja wearing corduroy. However, I did come up with it on my own. I was wearing a pair of cords, walking down the hall listening to my pants go *vwip vwip* and thought, “it sure would be difficult to be a ninja wearing corduroy.” At the time I was drawing a webcomic featuring me and a friend and decided to do an episode with a corduroy ninja. I sketched it out with stick figures and liked what I saw so I drew it that way.

I ended up doing a few more episodes of The Corduroy Ninja interlaced with the other comic. Eventually I ditched the other comic and focused solely on the Corduroy Ninja. So, while I was not the first and probably won’t be the last to come up with the concept, I think I am the first to really run with it.

With that said, this blog really has nothing to do with the Corduroy Ninja character in the comics. I just felt like I wanted a place to be able to put some of my thoughts/ideas/stories that don’t necessarily work as a regular post on the Corduroy Ninja forums. Speaking of, you should join the forums. We have mad amounts of fun in there.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy whatever I post whenever I do get around to posting things. And be sure to check out my comic!
